Hello there! As the new administrator for Arden Wood, I would like to introduce myself to you!
I have worked for AltaMonte Care for a year now but my experience in long term care is much more. I began my career as a Certified Nurse Aide with the dream of becoming a nurse one day. Then I realized that nurses were SUPER HEROS and that didn’t fit my mold. So I turned towards business instead. I received two business degrees and began my corporate ladder climb. Over the years I’ve worked in human resources, medical records, hospice, admissions, marketing and public relations. I am a licensed nursing home administrator as well as a certified dementia practitioner. I actually completed my internship here at Arden Wood and graciously have accepted the full time administrator position now that I am officially licensed. Personally, I come from a small town in South East Texas where I visit my family frequently. I love dogs, the great outdoors, hunting, reading, and gardening.
