C.W. came to Arden Wood following an acute hospitalization for a recent fall resulting in a laceration and sepsis. He admitted to Arden Wood for therapy to build strength, improve balance, safety awareness, ambulate in the community, and reduce fall risk in preparation for an upcoming knee replacement surgery.
Due to his hard work with our Therapy Team, C.W. was able to improve his overall strength and balance, and is also able to participate in many of the activities offered at Arden Wood. C.W.’s knee replacement surgery has now been scheduled and once completed, he will return to Arden Wood for further therapy, so that he can then return home with his sister.
